It all started in 2003 when I bought my first wooden boat, an Arcangeli Jolly.
As my profession as a carpenter I was always interested in woodwork and all the things that can be made of wood.
When I had the boat there were much things to be done at it, so I did research for this brand.
There was not much to be found, no special website, almost no history to be found anywhere.
Just a few pieces about Arcangeli on other wooden boat sites from clubs and manufacturers.
Nowhere a forum or club about Arcangeli owners or anything like that.
So I became a member of the EWBC, the European Wooden Boat Club, a club of enthusiast
people from all around Europe which share the same interest as me....... wooden boats.
At that time I was the second member with an Arcangeli , so even there not much
other Arcangeli owners to ask or share Arcangeli "questions" with.
There I started my own search for knowledge, material, pictures, owners and of course the founder and his family.
With lots help from other wooden boat owners, members of the EWBC and the Arcangeli family I started
this website to make it "THE" Arcangeli website with about everything there is to know and to be found about this
beautiful brand which unfortunately just stand for 8 years.
All these years of research made this website to what it is today.
I can say that everything there is to know about the brand "Arcangeli" is to be found on this website.
Pictures, the boats still excisting, stories, Arcangeli's worldwide for sale and so much more.
The website is expanding all the time, Arcangeli owners find their way to the site and also owners of
other (Italian) wooden boat brands too with questions and stories.
I hope this site will be like a guide for your search for help with restorations or any other questions.
