On 26 June 2001, by a few owners of classic Riva's wedding the Riva Society Netherlands (RSN) was established. 
Their enthusiasm for this wonderful classic Italian boats they wanted to share with other Dutch owners. 
The number of Riva's wedding that our country matters is relatively large. 
Partly this is due to the historic band that Netherlands with this brand has built. 
But mainly because the craftsmanship and appearance of this classic mahogany speedboats 
were quickly recognized by the Dutch lovers.

The Riva Society Great Britain (GB) was established in 2002 by enthusiasts of the classic 
range of powerboats made by world-famous boat builders, Cantieri Riva.
As the British chapter of the Riva Historical Society, to which all members also belong, 

Riva Society GB aims to preserve and promote the Riva legend in the spirit of its creator Carlo Riva.

The Norwegian Riva Club has a rich history to draw from, seeing as it is, 
alongside the Swiss Club the first Chapters to founded back in the early nineties
The main purpose of our Club is to encourage the interest of our members and boatowners of Riva boats in Norway, 

and to make it easier to own such a special piece of naval history. 
In addition to that we want to be a promoter of social events that can better the contact between owners 
and create attention, both about the Club and our boats.

The Payette Lakes Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) was officially recognized 
as a chapter in May of 2006.
 There were 26 founding members and has subsequently gown to 43 members. 
The boat club began as a result of handful of wooden boat owners wanting to share their love and 
knowledge of how to care for and restore wooden & classic boats.

The mission of OACBS is to bring people together with a common interest in historic, antique and classic boats,

The Antique and Classic Boat Society is the world's largest group devoted to antique boating. 
Since its beginnings in 1975 the ACBS has helped introduce thousands to the hobby of antique boating.
The Philadelphia chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society was formed in 1998.  

We're a varied bunch of people who have a common  love of the "woodies" of the past. 
We believe that roaring around in a beautifully varnished mahogany runabout is among the greatest pleasures of life.
 The Philadelphia Chapter of the ACBS sponsors a variety of boat shows throughout the boating season.

The Thousand Islands Chapter of ACBS supports and endorses the Vision and Mission statement of ACBS,
 and is particularly oriented to carrying out its efforts in the St. Lawrence River area.
Our Chapter area includes both the AntiqueBoatMuseum and the Headquarters of ACBS, 

which provides our chapter with not only the responsibility, but also
the privilege of supporting both with volunteers, staff, tours etc.
The St. Lawrence River and the 1000 Islands area is one of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the world. 

There are an endless number of tree lined coves, channels, bays, cuts and islands to navigate through. 
As the outlet for the Great Lakes, the water can frequently be rough and there is a fairly steady current- 
thus a reason why wooden boats built in the area tended to be a little longer and a little more ruggedly built.

The Lake Hopatcong Chapter of The Antique & Classic Boat Society, Inc. (ACBS) is based predominantly at Lake Hopatcong,
 the largest lake in New Jersey with over forty miles of shore line.
 Two neighboring lakes, Green Pond and Lake Mohawk, have growing populations of antique boaters, as well, 
with their boats in active use. The membership has been stable over the years with between 135 and 140 at most times.

​The Pacific Northwest Chapter, founded in 1980, is one of the largest and most active in the ACBS.

The Water Wonderland Chapter is one of the largest chapters of The Antique and Classic Boat Society, Inc.

 Although the Chapter was founded in Traverse City (northwest region of Michigan's Lower Peninsula),
 its members not only hail from throughout the state, but across the Midwest. 
With the many beautiful lakes throughout the state along with the long standing boat building companies

The Sunnyland Antique and Classic Boat Society is located in Sunny Florida. 
We have so much water for boating and such fantastic year round weather, 
it's no surprise that Sunnyland is one of the largest chapters of ACBS.  
Our annual Boat Festival, held in March, is eagerly anticipated by boat enthusiasts from all over the country –

​The inspiration for the creation of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter (CBC) back in 1982 came from 
Herb Zorn (now deceased) and Paul Warner of Annapolis. 
In addition to Paul, two other founding members, Chuck Warner and Jim Duffy, are still active in the Chapter today.  
CBC is one of the 57 U.S. & Canadian chapters of The Antique and Classic Boat Society, Inc. 
and has over 200 members enrolled representing more than six states.

The Finger Lakes Region of central New York State takes its name from eleven slender lakes
 running in a generally north-south direction through the Allegheny Plateau. 
When viewed from above, the five largest lakes resemble the outstretched fingers of a giant hand. 
Skaneateles Lake is the second-most easterly of the Finger Lakes 
and has become the unofficial home of the Finger Lakes Chapter of ACBS.

​The Adirondack Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS) is not only one of the oldest chapters, 
but rich with history dating back to the origins of ACBS.
The Adirondack Chapter is based in upstate New York, with coverage from the Lake George and Capital District regions 

through the Adirondack Park.  The chapter comprises of about 250 members.  
We host two rendezvous style shows each season; theFulton Chain Rendezvous in Old Forge 
and the Lake George Rendezvous naturally at Lake George.

The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club was formed to be of assistance to our more than 3,600 members throughout the world. 
Most of our members own Chris-Crafts, but that is not a prerequisite to membership.

The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is dedicated to research, documentation, and preservation of all classic Chris-Craft boats.

The Lyman Boat Owners Association (LBOA) is the oldest Lyman boat enthusiast organization in the U.S. and Canada. 
The Lyman Boat Owners Association (LBOA) boasts a membership of over 800 members from across the United States,
 Canada and parts of  Europe. Membership benefits include an up-to-date web site that contains informative 
and relevant information on Lyman boats and restoration/maintenance tips, a quarterly news magazine full of 
useful Lyman boat restoration tips, historical and educational articles and member event news.

The Boat Club was originated by about 20 active motor boat owners of 
Williamsport, PA. on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, 
who docked their boats at the former Susquehanna Canoe Club at Maynard Street in South Williamsport.
 The group first met for the first time on February 22, 1949 and set up a committee to 
draw up a set of by-laws and aims for the boat club.
 The charter was drawn up and the Club was incorporated April 13th, 1949, to serve the interests of power boat owners.

Cantieri Navali Classici vanta ventiquattro anni di esperienza e rappresenta il risultato della vivace attività del Boesch Club Svizzera, precedentemente noto come Club Boesch Ceresio.
 
La passione e l'amore per le barche hanno permesso a Paolo Brülisauer, nato e cresciuto in Ticino, di affermarsi e specializzarsi nel settore delle imbarcazioni in legno. Grazie alla sua quotidiana presenza in cantiere, egli è diventato un consulente esperto e professionale, preciso e puntuale. 
 
Proprio la passione che lega Paolo Brülisauer alle barche, in particolare alle barche Boesch, ha portato nel 1990 alla fondazione, sul Lago di Lugano, dell'unico circolo ufficiale Boesch: il Club Boesch Ceresio. Il suo successo è immediato e si legge nel numero dei Soci, sempre in crescita e sempre più provenienti da altri cantoni. Per questo motivo, il Club decide di ampliarsi su tutto il territorio nazionale e diviene, nel 2014, Boesch Club Svizzera.

The small small town of Sarnico at lake Iseo in the italian province Lombardei is the home of the "Avionautica Rio".
Although it is difficult to believe Sarnico was and is one of the centers of Italian Boat building. 

Shipyards like for example Arcangeli, Riva, Rio and several others had production in Sarnico in the past. 
Even today there are famous shipyards near Sarnico for example Cantieri the Sarnico and many others.

Im April 2010 trafen sich in Teupitz - dem Ort der traditionellen Treffen der Liebhaber historischer Sportboote - 
eine Handvoll Sportfreunde, um der Community von www.oldieboote.de auch ein „greifbares“ 
Gerüst in Form eines Vereins zu geben.   Im April 2011 wurde der Verein beim Amtsgericht Potsdam eingetragen.

​Unsere Ziele1983 gegründet, bezweckt der OBCZ die Erhaltung alter Dampf-, Motor-, Ruder- 
und Segelboote sowie auch alter Berufs- und Vergnügungsschiffe.

Zürichsee und der Wassersportreviere dienen.

The Classic Australian Wooden Power Boat Association is made up of enthusiasts from all over Australia. 
You don't have to own a wooden power boat to become a member, but only wooden boats are permitted at our "gatherings".
A large part of this website is our Bulleting Board. 

The BB provides a forum to exchange information on the wooden powerboat
 scene in Australia as well as amongst the group.
While you do not have to be an Association member to use the Board, it is encouraged.
